I wanted to know if I could dye it dark ash blonde which is pretty much natural hair color.
I’d really appreciate it if stylists answer this and not the 12 year olds =]

I meant to ask if it was safe, not for damage reasons, but I wanted to know if it would come out looking okay, not another crazy color.

yes but you cant lift dye with dye
so you are going to need to bleach it out to get the auburn out. Im not sure what shade you are talking about but if it is darker then what you want then you must bleach. Then redye
make sure you get all your stuff from a beauty supply store not a drug store to make sure you get best results
