I colored my hair auburn but its not what I wanted there is not much of a difference?

I colored my hair auburn yesterday and I wanted my hair to be red but it does not look much different from my normal dark blonde. I like the way it look but I wanted a more red color what should I color my hair next to make it more red? if it helps im pretty white almost pale but i do have some pigment in my skin and I have hazel eyes.

  1. Call the 1-800# found on the box of dye or email them, (to find #, go online & search the brand if you don’t have the box) they’re the hair color experts they can advice you best.

    Playing with chemicals is not like playing with clothes, there are penalties for playing chemicals in the lab. Even hair color experts at the salon are not rocket scientists, they do a bang up dye jobs to their clients or their own hair.

    One example on someone who had re-bleached her hair now they’re falling out.

    I know hair. I have over 4 decades of hair know-how. I have silky, shiny, soft, smooth very healthy hair down to my knees. Previously damaged by perming & dyeing in the 80’s & 90’s. I’ve known people in their 30’s whose hair stopped growing from ironing their hair in the 70’s.

  2. More of a straight red may give you the look you are going for. A deeper shade too. Red is a hard color to maintain as it fades quickly.
