I want to dye my hair like a light auburn colour. My natural hair colour is golden/dirty blonde and i have green eyes. Would I suit this colour? Where can I buy a hair dye this colour in the UK? How do I persuade my Mum to let me dye it?

Thanks x

  1. If you are naturally blonde do it gradually. Auburn can easily go very wrong (I have had to go to college with orange hair in the past!) My advice is Nice and Easy they do a colour called natural Auburn which is lovely. It is available in perminant and semi-perminant! I recommend you get a semi-perminant on your hair (your mum will probably prefer you to do this) and then when it looks lovely, you can persuade her to let you go to the hairdressers and get it dyed proffessionally! Then you can just top it up at home! Whenever I have a drastic colour change I get it done with a salon and then top it up myself, it avoids any horrible mistakes!
    Good luck!

  2. Haha, this is like exactly my situation, I’m dirty blonde and I dyed my hair auburn yesterday :). You can buy dye from like any shop pretty much! Most brands are basically the same. If you are trying to convince your mum, buy a semi-permanent dye, to show that you are responsible and your taking precautions for if it doesn’t work.
