Do you mix 20 volume regular lifter with permanent hair color?

I have black hair and it says lifter so to get deep auburn hair color do i mix the lifter with the hair color?

Red ♣ Feck Ya. April 19, 2010 at 1:08 am: You always mix hair developer with color…But Just to let you know, It may not work because you need to lift hair with bleach and 30 volume before applying any color. And even if you have natural hair, It will most likely go dark brown.
